Young Adults Group: Young adults age 18 or older meets each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. for a meal and Bible study.

Young Families Group: Meets the last Sunday of each month for a potluck meal and Bible study. Babysitting provided.

Board of Christian Education: This board plans and administers the total educational program of the congregation, determines policies, selects personnel for the various ministries, provides the necessary means and facilities for the ministries, and directs and supervises the entire educational program of the congregation.

Board of Evangelism: This board is involved with bringing the Gospel to the unchurched, enlisting all God’s people in the work of spreading the Gospel, deepening the faith and activity of the members of this congregation, and proper soul-accounting at all times.

Board of Parish Fellowship: This board carries out ministries to strengthen the fellowship among the congregation members spiritually and socially, integrate new members into the life of the congregation, and the general encouragement of mutual cooperation, trust, and enjoyment among the members of the congregation .

Board of Lay Ministers: This board looks after the spiritual welfare of congregation members, individually and corporately, and supervises everything concerning congregational worship .

 Board of Church Properties: This board takes care of the maintenance and repair of the church property, the representation of the congregation in all legal matters, and the general protection of the congregation against loss or damage of whatever nature.

Board of Public Relations: This board presents a Christian image to the public which will reflect favorably upon the work of Christ and of the congregation as His instrument, publishes the work of the congregation through various channels, and integrates the congregation’s work into the life of the community.

Board of Stewardship: This board initiates programs for the development of good stewardship attitudes in the members of the congregation in regard to time, talents, and treasures, provides for the training and utilization of members of the congregation for the work of Christ’s Kingdom, and ensures the financial stability of the congregation and its work through a developed program of dedicated, proportionate, first-fruit giving. The Director of Stewardship appoints a Financial Secretary from among those persons elected to the Board.

Board of Youth: This board involves the youth of the congregation in the work of Christ, provides for their spiritual growth and nurture, and promotes genuine Christian fellowship for the youth of the congregation.

Endowment: The purpose of the Endowment Fund Board shall be to receive gifts and bequests and to use these gifts for the further growth of our church, the mission and the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church of Colby, Kansas and The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, its districts, seminaries, colleges, institutions, or agencies.
